We are officially halfway through the race! it’s so crazy to think I have already done 4 months of the race and we have 4 and a half more months to go. some things I have learned from the race, about the race and things I’ve learned about myself have been incredible and may more things to come in the next months we have on the race. Here are some things I’ve enjoyed on the field and some good moments

ok so first lets address my awesome team, The Men of God, Kim, Damon, Grant, Mason and of course me. It’s been an awesome and blessed honor and privilege to go alongside this journey with ya guys and to hear the backgrounds where y’all come from and to hear the Stories of yall’s life. For supporting me in the good times and bad times, to encourage me when I feel like Im going to fail or when I need to do something but am to nervous to do it, for pushing me closer to the lord!

Second, the race has taught me so much about my life and all the things I have taken advantage of back home and throughout my life. The World Race has taught me to not be greedy for the things we have back home, such as Walmart’s, phone service, our houses and of course electricity! In Ethiopia the mainly have houses made of mud and grass and dirt and wood, and there super glad and rejoice in what they have.

Third and lastly, the World Race has made me more open to sharing my story and to talk and get to know the people I’m living with for nine months and to treat them like brothers and sisters. These past months have been great, God has shown are a lot about my future and why I am on the race. As Kanye West says, “he’s the strength in this race that I run.” Which means to me, I have wanted to give up several times on the race but I think back to what Kanye says in that song!
